Okay, today was actually the first "normal" day. Well, I did learn like, 7 songs and a new dance, but still: no workshops or meeting or whatever.
However, there was one thing that really touched me. Somewhere in vocal-session, Humberto, a Mexican guy, said I made his day. He heard that day that one of his friends in Mexico died, and he was pretty sad, but somehow, my positive attitude and energy helped him smile, and he thanked me for that.
That was the most important moment this trip, maybe. That made MY day.
No pictures today, I'm sorry.
I just wanted to say I was touched by Humberto's comment. I'll post a picture of us together together.

Hi dear Freek,
Your dad and I were touched by your last update. What you experienced was the real UWP-spirit, the we-feeling, the you-are-not-alone feeling. That's what friends are for. In good and bad times! We always look forward to reading your last update.
How's the weather overthere? Still very hot?
Your dad made me a MSN-account so that I will learn to contact you in that way too. I will try..... Old and learning, eh.
Say hello to Humberto from us and tell him that we will burn a candle for him. Who knows it will give him some strength.
Love and kisses to you. <3 mum
Dear Freek,
Nice to hear everything is going well. I can read you are already accustomed to the USA and feel the UWP spirit. It must be interesting to meet so many different people.
Here at Haaren, everything is going well. Everybody is interested in how you are doing. I must say Hello to you from Mark, Tom, Yneke and Martin.
Thinking of you. Enjoy yourself !Tante Lot and the rest of the family.
